Hello, my name is Patrick, a retired man with a passion for beautiful things and places with a story to tell.

I inherited this family home built in 1967, a house that meant a great deal to me. Rather than letting it sit empty, I decided to give it a new lease of life by completely renovating it with care  preserving its soul while bringing it all the comfort of today.

The house is called Mayumba  a name that came from Africa, given by its first owners after falling in love with a coastal town in Gabon, nestled between ocean and wild nature. I was determined to preserve that spirit of escape. The terracotta tones, the natural materials, the exotic garden with its centuries-old olive tree, palm trees and cascading water feature... everything was designed to make you feel transported, while being right in the heart of the Landes.

Today, I am delighted to share Villa Mayumba with families who, like me, love places with a real soul warm, transporting and designed for truly getting together.
